LIVE B.I.G.
LIVE BIG means, “Live, Believing in God”. It is an exciting curriculum with bible stories, games, music, crafts and DVD supported. Each age level has the same Bible lesson each week but activities and DVD are directed at each age level. Teachers always have literature for the children to take home so they can continue their Bible studies at home. Parents may also look at the website (www.livebig.com) to see what we are studying as well as other activities they can do on line. Come join us each Sunday, come join the fun as you learn and grow as young Christians.

During the second service only, we are offering a new program for children age 4 to 6. This new program has activities, crafts, storytelling and more as they learn, on their level, about Jesus and the church. Classes are held in the “Lambs” Sunday school classroom, located on the 1st floor.
Children will leave the Sanctuary each Sunday after Children’s Time and you may pick your child up after the church service in the “Lambs” classroom. Becky Wright will be the lead teacher for this new program. We will be following the Safe Sanctuary Policies of our church, so we need volunteers to assist Becky with this program. Call the church office if you are interested in being a part of this new program. If you have questions please call Becky Wright or Sheila Deck.
Junior High School Youth meet at 10:00 A.M. on the bottom floor of the Education Building in the Rock Cafe. Lessons are activity-based and group oriented while building community within our group. Each week Mrs. Jeannie Kiser graciously prepares the lessons that are explored with our Junior High School students.
Senior High School Youth meet at 10:00 am in the Youth Room. DVD lessons range from a series on the Ten Commandments and the Apostle Paul’s journey to everyday topics about friends and parents.
The Travelers Sunday School class always welcomes new members: men, women, couples, singles, ages 30 thru 50. We regularly study a LifeGuide Bible Study and enjoy lively discussions on the material. Our class has fellowship get-togethers several times a year, participates in INASMUCH, and offers friendship, prayer and support to each other. Please visit us on the third floor of the Education building in the last classroom on the left (walking to the back of the building). With questions, call our teacher, Emily Yelton, 625-1557.

The Fellowship Sunday School Class was established by Rev. Ken Lyon in 1986, and the class continues to meet every Sunday in the Perry Moore House. The class members enjoy reaching beyond traditional Sunday School curricula to study areas of interest within our contemporary Christian society.
Recent studies include an in-depth look at Christ's disciples, viewing other religions from a Christian perspective, the Methodist Articles of Religion, and Philip Yancey's series on "The Jesus You Never Knew" and "What's So Amazing About Grace."

Bill Miller and Bob Bourne head our teaching team, but other class members frequently share the teaching opportunities. The Fellowship Class supports several Life Lines through our local hospital and seeks opportunities to respond to special requests from within our congregation and our community.
The class is made up of a warm, loving and supportive group of individuals who enjoy lively discussion and debate. Every Sunday has a new surprise. All are welcome to join!
The Garmon-Yelton Class is a group of 50+ single and married adults with diversified opinions, which lead to lively discussion on our Christian faith and the challenges in today's world.
This class is blessed to have had Midge Yelton as their teacher for 30 years. Newcomers are welcomed with open arms and freshly brewed coffee. The New Beginnings class discussions are lively and engaging. The class is open to all adults. Contact Peggy McBrayer for more info on the class.
